Dreamforce is right around the corner and now is your chance to take that idea you’ve had or a specific use case and enter it into a competition – the Dreamforce Hackathon
This year at Dreamforce I think we will see many unique mobile apps being launched. Not only will companies be showcasing their mobile Salesforce apps but many companies and individuals will be building and releasing their mobile apps with a chance to win $1,000,000 a the first Salesforce Hackathon.
Over the past few years Salesforce has truly embraced mobile development and have made it easier for companies to design, build and release mobile apps quickly by utilizing the Salesforce Platform.
How Does it Work?
All you have to do is enter a team and then you have to do is a build a new mobile app that uses the Salesforce Platform somehow. Its that simple. Whether you have a clear business objective for a mobile app or just an idea now is the time to develop it. This is an incredible opportunity to blow the Dreamforce lid with your next mobile app. Although there will probably be hundreds of teams participating don’t think that your chances are slim because you will most likely get incredible PR.
