Salesforce Spring ’26 Release: New Features in Agentforce360 for Nonprofits

The Salesforce Spring ’26 release is rolling out now, and it comes with some fantastic new features and functionality. In fact, Salesforce’s release preview for partners like Galvin was more than three hours long – just to cover the highlights. One of the things that makes this release extra special is the fact that users like you had a huge influence through the IdeaExchange, with 10 of the updates originating from there.
Rather than covering everything, our team selected a few release favorites with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. Narrowing things down was tough, but following are some of the top features we think you’ll appreciate most.
But before we get started, let’s address the title of this article. You may have noticed a name change. The entire Salesforce suite for Nonprofits now goes by Agentforce360 for Nonprofits and Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) is now Agentforce Nonprofit (AFNP). The change reflects the growing capabilities of the product suite and its ability to do more for organizations like yours.
Now, with that out of the way, let’s get started.
Volunteer Management
Among its many capabilities, Volunteer Management serves three major functions: create your volunteer initiatives, schedule them, and support those activities with the right volunteers. Spring ’26 makes those tasks simpler than ever with the help of Agentic AI.
Volunteer Agent
Managing volunteers across programs is a tough task, but Salesforce just made it much easier. Now you can ask an Agentforce Employee Agent to identify shifts that need attention and match them with the right volunteers for the job. Add the Shift Capacity and Coverage Topic to the agent, set your threshold for unfilled positions, and the agent does the rest. It finds shifts below your coverage target and generates a list of qualified volunteers who meet the position and shift criteria. No spreadsheets. No guesswork. Just faster outreach and smarter staffing. It’s like having an administrative assistant on call.
Programs Suite
Programs Suite received many upgrades with Spring ’26, but the biggest is an enhanced intake experience with five new components to streamline the process and get participants connected to services faster.
Intake: Homepage and App
Think of this as a command center with all participant applications, information, and tasks accessible in one place. Save time and clicks.
Intake: Create Application
Stop collecting the same information repeatedly to deliver different services. Now users can quickly create an application for more than one program. That means people can apply for multiple service options at once to speed up the process. From the homepage, click Create Program Application to get started.
Intake: Application Form Page
Create Application leads to the Application Form Page, a new one-stop-shop for applicants. With this new feature, users can see forms and applicant information in one place to know what’s been completed and what needs attention, so the process keeps moving forward. Through the Application Form, users can view an intake checklist, eligibility status, tracking details, and supporting materials.
Intake: Program Eligibility
Say goodbye to remembering each program’s unique eligibility criteria and manually checking them off. Use the Business Rules Engine to define program-specific qualifications. Agentforce then evaluates whether an applicant meets those standards – streamlining review and accelerating decisions.
Intake: Complete Program Application
To minimize the manual tasks that slow down the hand-off from intake to service delivery, this enhancement shows which programs a person is eligible for and then creates the enrollment form(s) and case record. Salesforce also added a new “Eligibility Last Verified” date stamp to make pulling a report of those needing re-verification quick and easy.

Mobile Attendance
Working out in the field without computer access? No problem. Mobile Attendance offers an on-the-go way to log attendance right from your smart device. Track attendance for one participant or many and update fields directly in the app. It’s now enabled by default and ready for action.
Fundraising
Spring ’26 puts the “advance” in fundraising and advancement with some significant improvements to the platform that level up the process for targeting, soliciting, and tracking donations in AFNP.
Gift Entry Grid Templates
Salesforce admins, these next two are specifically for you (and will make you a hero among the fundraising team). With Spring ’26 you can align gift entry with different use cases by creating, editing, and tailoring Gift Entry Templates. You no longer need to use the Gift Entry screen flow to customize. Clone an existing template and configure it to meet the team’s needs.
Gift Entry Grid Customization
And if templates made you a hero, this takes it a step further. Spring ’26 enhances the Gift Entry Grid with support for Lightning Web Components and the ability to modify fields, columns, and layouts. Set visibility rules, build custom modals, and incorporate icons to streamline entry and reduce errors. More flexibility. Fewer workarounds. Happier fundraisers.
Donor Support Agent
Get ready to meet the first externally facing agent in Fundraising whose goal is to boost donor retention through self-service. Designed to assist with recurring donor questions, the agent can address requests to increase, decrease, pause, and cancel donations through a natural conversation tailored to each of the four scenarios. Configure the Agentforce Employee Agent Template, add the topic, and activate to add an extra member to your donor management team.
Planned Gift Visualizations
When it comes to planned giving, clarity is everything. Spring ‘26 introduces Planned Gift Visualizations, bringing the key details of a donor’s future commitment into a structured view. Pre-configured for eight common gift types – including bequests, trusts, and life insurance – each visualization is tailored to highlight the fields most relevant to that specific gift type. Instead of a one-size-fits-all layout, AFNP dynamically renders a Flex Card designed around what matters most for that planned gift. Add the Planned Gift Flex Card to the record page and give your team a clearer, more focused way to understand a gift’s timing, structure, and projected value.
