Galvin Technologies Sponsors Another Successful Jingle Bell Run

Last week Galvin Technologies was proud to be a sponsor for the 2011 edition of the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run. Despite chilling temperatures, over 3,500 festive runners and walkers took to Conseco Fieldhouse and the streets of Downtown Indianapolis for this year’s event.

Through the donations and registration fees the event generated over $140,000 for the foundation. Those dollars will be used for research on this debilitating disease. While a cure is the obivious goal, many drugs and treatments generated, with the help of the Arthiritis Foundation, over the last 25 years have largely reduced the footprint that this disease makes on so many of our loved ones.

Arthritis is the leading cause of disability and affects nearly 1.4 million Hoosiers along. 6,400 of which are children, so the myth that arthritis only affects the elderly is just that, a myth.
